Dukaan alternatives in India make sense when your shop has outgrown a single online catalogue. If you also bill walk-in customers with GST at a counter, check whether the platform does that too, or whether you would pay for separate billing software. Compare three things on each pricing page: the fixed monthly charge, the cut on each order, and what happens at the counter.
Example, not a real shop: a bangle and cosmetics showroom in Lucknow sells to regulars in Kanpur over WhatsApp and prints counter bills every evening. A web store alone covers only half of that day.
That counter need changes the answer. A lot. Below, each platform is described from its own pricing page as it stood on 6 Oct 2026.

What does Dukaan offer, and who is it for?
Dukaan’s pricing FAQ says it’s “tailored for online businesses, especially those seeking frequent repeat purchases.” Its homepage and pricing table list these features:
- Themes, a theme editor on Growth, and a code editor for deeper changes.
- Dozens of plugins, such as abandoned cart recovery, discount coupons and a WhatsApp chat bubble.
- An Android app for your store, staff logins, and more than one warehouse on paid plans.
- Dukaan Delivery, plus Razorpay and PhonePe gateway integrations.
- Custom domain, inventory management, digital products and a marketplace integration powered by Unicommerce.
Dukaan pricing in 2026: what will you pay?
These are the yearly figures Dukaan shows, as of 6 Oct 2026, before tax:
| Dukaan plan | Yearly cost |
|---|---|
| Entry plan | ₹0 |
| Starter | ₹2,500 a year |
| Growth | ₹8,000 a year |
| Infinity | ₹50,000 a year |
Dukaan doesn’t show a GST line, so check the final amount at checkout. Source: Dukaan’s pricing page.
There’s a second cost. Read this part twice. Dukaan takes a service fee on sales made through the platform. It’s capped at ₹200 per order and doesn’t apply to manual orders. The FAQ adds that this fee is exclusive of payment gateway charges, so gateway costs come on top. The percentage depends on the plan. On the day we checked, the plan table and the FAQ gave two sets of figures, so confirm the rate with Dukaan before you pay for a year.
When is Dukaan the better choice?
Be honest with yourself here. You’ll probably be happier on Dukaan if:
- Most of your sales already happen on the web, and repeat buyers keep you going.
- You want lots of themes, a code editor and plugins in one dashboard.
- You want your own branded Android app.
- You dispatch from more than one warehouse, or run more than one store.
- You offer digital products. Indi Andaz handles physical goods only.
How do I sell online from my physical shop?
This is what most owners with a till are really asking when they look for a Dukaan alternative. Your day looks nothing like an internet-only brand’s day. Before you pick a platform, check these five things for your own store:
- Billing for walk-ins. Can one login handle tax bills at the desk, or will you need billing software as well?
- Paid web orders. Do people pay by UPI or card at checkout, or choose cash on delivery, so you aren’t matching screenshots to chats at night?
- Your cost in a quiet month. A yearly or monthly amount is due even in Shradh fortnight. A percentage on what gets delivered isn’t.
- What the percentage covers. Is it taken on every order you get, or only delivered ones? Are gateway charges inside it or on top? Our guide to payment gateway charges in India explains how those work. If you are getting quotes from gateways too, our checklist to compare payment gateway quotes helps you set them side by side.
- Stock. Will in-store sales and web sales draw from one count or two? Know the answer before the Diwali rush.
If you have never built a site, start with how to set up an online store without a website.
We didn’t find counter billing or POS listed on Dukaan’s pricing page or homepage when we read them on 6 Oct 2026. If you need it, check with Dukaan directly. If your orders arrive in chats, WhatsApp order management for a small shop is worth a read too.

Dukaan vs Shopify vs Instamojo: how do their fees compare?
Shopify is the big international name. Its India pricing lists thousands of apps, tools for selling in other countries, and an add-on called POS Pro for brick-and-mortar retailers at ₹7,000 a month per location. Basic is ₹1,994 a month on monthly billing, or ₹1,499 a month on yearly billing. (All as of 6 Oct 2026, before tax.) If you want the widest range of themes and apps, or you want to reach people abroad, Shopify is often the stronger pick. We cover it in our Shopify alternatives post.
Instamojo offers payment links, Smart Pages for services, event tickets and donations, and a web store. Its store options list 5% + ₹3 per successful transaction on Lite and Starter, and 2% + ₹3 on Growth, as of 6 Oct 2026, before tax. If your products are courses, ebooks or tickets, it may fit better than a platform made for physical goods. We look at it closely in our Instamojo alternative post.
A developer-built website on WordPress or similar gives you full control. You pay for the build, hosting and upkeep, though, and you still have to set up payments, shipping and billing yourself. Our ecommerce website cost guide breaks that down. If you also sell on marketplaces, see how the marketplace seller fees on Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho add up on one kurta.
Where does Indi Andaz fit?
Indi Andaz is for Indian retailers who stock their own goods and want a web store next to the billing desk. Here’s what you get:
- A shareable branded shop link to post on WhatsApp, Instagram or anywhere your regulars already talk to you.
- UPI, card and cash-on-delivery checkout, so the money comes in with the order, or the buyer picks COD.
- Shipping through Delhivery for parcels within India.
- GST billing at the counter through the Indi Andaz Counter app, where you can scan barcodes and take cash, UPI, card, udhar or split payments at the till.
Pricing: No monthly fee, 5% only on delivered online orders, payment processing included. GST applies on the fee. On a ₹1,000 product that is delivered, the fee is ₹50 plus GST on that fee. That stays the same after the UPI fee starts, so there’s no extra UPI charge to sellers.
Now the limits, plainly. Counter stock and online stock are kept separate, so a sale in the store doesn’t change the quantity on your site. When a piece sells out at the desk, update the listing yourself. The site works from templates, with no open theme editor and no third-party app store. It isn’t made for digital products, services or dropshipping.
Fixed yearly amount or a cut per order: which suits a counter business?
It depends on how steady your web sales are. Only your own numbers can settle that. A fixed yearly or monthly amount is easy to plan for in a strong month and hurts in a slow one. A percentage on delivered parcels costs nothing when nothing goes out, but it grows with your best months. In a very busy month, a platform with a lower percentage and a fixed yearly amount can cost less.
Our post on ecommerce platform commission vs monthly fee walks through slow months in detail. Compare a monthly plan with a per-order fee using your own numbers. Put in your slow months and your festive rush before you choose.
If the till-plus-web-store route sounds right, you can open your store on Indi Andaz and see how it fits your week.
